Prophet Newz was created to be an online source for young people to enjoy learning about their favorite bands through photos, videos and written interviews.  We strive to inspire today’s generation for Purity and we will promote those Christian Bands with the most fervor who uphold these important values.

Where does our name come from?  As a musician, I wanted to name a band Prophet and as a photojournalist it made sense because Prophet means:

A person who speaks for God

An inspired teacher or leader

A spokesperson of some cause, or movement

We want the magazine to speak for God, to teach and to be a spokesperson for Purity and the Christian lifestyle.  Newz because the gospels of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, are the Good News; but since we had to be different and more hip we use a Z!  Our focus is music because it is a powerful force that we all can relate to and one of the best ways to use our talents for our Lord.  We hope that we can use our God given talents to inspire and help others and be a safe place where today’s generation can come to enjoy Christian entertainment!

All interviews conducted and posted by Prophet Newz will be uncut, unedited, and complete from the artist or band so that they speak for themselves.  They will be raw and real just like the real human beings that spoke the words!
